That girl to the left of the guy with the blue football jersey and sunglasses - Is she dressed up as a grey squirrel???
That's just waaaay too great! Our reigning monarch is also a major celebrity now!It was a pretty good size crowd that night which always makes it a fun show to play, everyone wanted to party. The sliding door was open to all the slot machines that night (it was closed when we were doing sound check, which turned into silly music making fun) They monitor the db level at the board so it doesn't travel out into the gambling area too much.
It's the first place that ever put my band's name in lights, which was, and still is a bit of a thrill, at least for me.

The pickup cover looks like it came from a Precision, unless Gibson was using a bigger cover over the pickups early on. Not that it makes any difference - that's a fantastic specimen. Here's some Gibson bass porn for y'all.

Chatted up by a little guy dressed as a squirrel, is there a joke in there? Probably not but I'm sure he was just after your nuts!!Indeed! Arboreal Rodentia. Happen to be a smallish guy tho, he chatted me up after the show.
Three? Did I miss one?
It's the original pickup cover. The only thing that is not original on this bass is the trussrod cover. The pickup cover looks like it came from a Precision, unless Gibson was using a bigger cover over the pickups early on. Not that it makes any difference - that's a fantastic specimen.
Interesting. I may rethink the P-bird project covers. The pickup cover looks so much like a P-bass pickup cover that it really got my attention. It's the original pickup cover. The only thing that is not original on this bass is the trussrod cover.
