Thunderbird Club

A couple of shots from our Halloween show, we had a good crowd!
Yours truly with the Jackson, I used it for the third set.

Nice gams, your Grace!

Really, they sound fantastic in my jazz, very similar to the 2011 Tbird

but the splitcoils Sound totally pooooopie, no mids, just earsplitting highs and boomy lows. HATE those pickups! Yuck.

The SCPB3 (the 50s singe coil quarterpound) is a Different animal!

My personal favorites for affordable split coils: Dimarzio model P or Schaller PBX

You really packed 'em in! That's not a huge venue. Looks like they had the doors closed, but they were probably dancing between the slot machines anyway. Those folding doors are the result of the best argument I ever had with a designer.

Hope this works. No Halloween gig this year. This is from a few years back. After my band JOHNNY SMOKE finished our set I got called up to do a song with the next band. Lots of fun.

It was a pretty good size crowd that night which always makes it a fun show to play, everyone wanted to party. The sliding door was open to all the slot machines that night (it was closed when we were doing sound check, which turned into silly music making fun) They monitor the db level at the board so it doesn't travel out into the gambling area too much.
It's the first place that ever put my band's name in lights, which was, and still is a bit of a thrill, at least for me.
