Measured the pickup locations from the middle of the 12th fret to the middle of the pickups:
CP 10 9/16" and 14 15/16"
IV 11 3/8" and 15 3/16"
Anyone have the 2013 CP measurements?

For reference here’s what I have…
Measurement from 12th fret to the Centerline of each pickup
1990 Greco IV 10-7/8” and 14-1/8” (note 33.5” scale)
Gibson 2013 Tbird 10-1/4” and 14-5/8”
BaCH II 10-5/8”
1977 Greco II 11” (note 33.5” scale)
Epiphone VP 11” and 14-7/8”
Epiphone Goth 10-3/4” and 14-5/8”
Gibson 1964 Tbird 10-7/8” and 14-3/8”
Since I have mine out hanging on the wall atm, I went & checked.....it's 10 15/16" and 14 3/4"

Bridge is within measurement error. I’ll have to recheck the neck. Can’t see why they’d move the neck pickup a quarter inch from late 2013 to very early 2014.

I guess he's got bills to pay, and with little useful life skills, he has to take whatever comes along.I think that skinny Canuck was busy schmoozing Primus in hopes of a new roadie gig.
Looks great from here! LaBella Black Nylon Tapes would sound pretty good. So would SIT Power Steels.Still dirty but couldn’t resist. Clean bird may be saved for White Bird Wednesday.

I have/had LaBella 750-N black tapes on all basses save for a Mikro. That has 750-TS whites. Blacks were unavailable. Maybe I need to be more adventurous?Looks great from here! LaBella Black Nylon Tapes would sound pretty good. So would SIT Power Steels. Those were the two best sounding strings for my '06 Gibson with the same pickups. Or likely the same, with Gibson you never know.
Silver pickup covers? Changed? Thought all CPs were black hardware.Since I have mine out hanging on the wall atm, I went & checked.....it's 10 15/16" and 14 3/4"

Got the CP. one small finish crack on the top rear horn. Pictures a bit later.
The white CP is a little dirty. I want to clean it up before posting pics. The finish looks like epoxy? What to use as a cleaner?
Trying to generate work for @JIO ?
Just trying to be "helpful"(???).Trying to generate work for @JIO ?

Honestly, it's a great sounding bass with what's in there now.
@JIO has a good point about retaining the ability to have that Precision tone.
I've got a Pure Vintage '63 in there, and that's the closest pick up I've ever heard that comes to an original early 60's Precision.
But I seem to be on a humbucker quest these days.
"You can tell it's 'matte'-l; it's swell".I can imagine that being a possible way to achieve a 'matte' finish...
