No, he probably brings them into the garage, shows them his cars, gives them a cup of tea, and then drives them home in a very fast, very loud car. Then the horrified parents never let the kid go anywhere near Mr. Beck's house.
If I were a rich rock star I'd have every 60's American muscle car known to man in my (Jay Leno sized) garage. This would be my first one:
1962 Pontiac Catalina Super Duty 421/405 (rated) HP. (really a lot higher)

For me, it would be one o' these-like the one I had in 67. The trunk woulda held my Kasino and Thunderbird and a case of beer, no sweat. If I were a rich rock star I'd have every 60's American muscle car known to man in my (Jay Leno sized) garage. This would be my first one:

On stage he has a couple of 100W (tube because tube watts) amps through 2x12s, Rhonda uses an 810, and the side-fill subs are working overtime. It is a loud stage. When I saw him (just a bit past row 10) I couldn't hear the PA, only the stage. And I am very glad I wore some hearing protection.
Likely me, but then found a local 2/2014 CP for $400 including the original case.I have forgotten who was interested in my VP. It's nine pounds even. I just weighed it.
It is a black one, built in 2017. I looked it up to see exactly when, but I don't remember now. August 2017, I believe, but that might be wrong.
Jeff Beck and Neil Young in the same category?…
I am of a similar disposition. If I can't hear complaints, it must sound good.Their used to be a three piece local band in my area, the bassist/lead singer used two SVT heads with 4 810 SVT cabs cabs and the guitarist used two 100 Marshalls with one 4 x 12 cab for each, this in clubs. The soundman had the longest snake I've ever seen, they were good though, didn't hurt my ears, I posted this recently hopefully it wasn't here, if it was.......
That can be done on one bass. It doesn't sound quite the same, but it can be done. The story I heard about that track was that Herbie Flowers was getting paid per track, so he figured out how to get paid double on that one.
yep - for me out isn't about technique... it's about emotive expression - a unique voicing unlike any other guitarist.
She's playing a bass Geo would probably know all about and the rest of us wouldn't. She sure sounds good.
Now that would be interesting, I've never done that but every time I hear the term "two bassists" I think of Strawberry Alarm Clock who were supposed to have had two bassists in the band although I only heard one but this one really had two bassists.
Herbie Flowers playing both upright and electric bass.

Two bass players.
You always know it's either of them, i like both too. Neil Young is an amazing song writer too.

Similar/related but not the same. Geddy always double tracked his parts. One clean channel and one drive channel. Rick-o-sound worked for him...
It's like the Mahavishnu Orchestra - unparalleled ... oh, and I forgot to include John McLaughlin in my 'favorite' guitarist llst...
During the 80s I wondered why 38 Special had two drummers. Then I didn't think about it for a long time. But this makes me wonder again why 38 Special had two drummers.Exactly how it is most effective as a bass track. Having two different bass players however relegates them as two different voices. Or should...

Allman Brothers too - I saw/heard then in the '70s with Dicky Betts.
