The only bridge change I've done that made any noticeable difference in sound/tone, was when I replaced the decrepit stock bent-plate bridge on my Ibanez sr885le.
The Schaller bridge made a not huge, but definitely noticeable, difference.....it didn't really change the sound/tone/sustain/whatever/etc., it just made what was there, more....solid? I guess?
Hard to describe with words.
But its a change at the acoustic level; I could notice it before plugging in after the swap.
From what I understand, English is that way, now, because of the printing press. The typesetters got rid of everything redundant/oddball/hard to print. It's what accounts for at least some of the weirdness of "modern" written English......
I'm a Junior and since computers became so popular, it's gradually been erased, which doesn't bother me.
