Yes, they pronounce Z like an S out here (no Spanish lisp), and I've heard LL pronounced both ways but the 'Y' sound is most common here but I also think it depends on where it's placed in the sentence. V and B are pronounced pretty much the same here although I still pronounce the V more softly.

misleading though….. the double r is actually a letter (rr) in the castilian (what most folks think of as “spanish”) alphabet where that’s not the case in the basque, catalonian, galician and so on alphabets…..ALL of these are spanish, since they come from that country……dialects? no way, you can study medicine or law in these making them true languages….

Love the bass line by the way.
I love the growl to those pickups, but they may be a little more on the dark side than I'd like.
My fav humbucker right now is still the SD Hawkbucker.
This is why every time you guys hear me blab about them.

The double LL is also a letter in Castilian I believe. I've seen some alphabets where it's included and some without. I've never seen the double r included though.

The pickups are Artec HBLB's, most likely Dimarzio XN2 copies. Very hot and the bass is quite dark sounding by itself already. I like the growl too but sometimes I think a series/parallel switch for each could be useful.

Sorry, but those idiots at the Real Academia Española killed all our favorite letters in 2010. No more CH, LL, or RR. I refuse to comply as you can't get a CHE sound when H is silent

Ah, but do you say doble U or Uve doble? Another great, worthless, debate. Hey, Hispanics love a good argument as long as yelling and some refreshments are involved. There were a few wives that took years to adjust. Most thought we were just nuts and wondered what they got themselves into. I have a feeling the Italians are no better.

I have mentioned before, but will say again. I have 65 EB0. single mudbucker at the neck. I disconnected one of the coils to run as a single and took the offending cap that's wired straight across it out of circuit. Easy reversible 30 minute mod with a soldering iron. Opened up the sound to an incredible degree and also dropped the output to a more useable level.
I can now use the eb0, a p bass, and a t bird one after the other on stage without changing eq or gain levels.
They all sound different, but have similar useable levels and sound scape. Unlike your normal overpowering mudbucker.
Give it a try folks !

The other thing to do is put in a Dimarzio One. My EB-2d has one of those instead of the mudbucker, and it's a fantastic sounding bass guitar.

That's what I call these, not sure of the correct name. I have one on my '65. This isn't it.

The tilt-o-matic two point. I have one of those, only with tune-o-matic saddles on my EB-2. That makes it a tilt-o-tune-o-matic. Or something. Once it's set up, it works fine, but it sure is a pain to set up.
