this one survived the Paradise fires…real mess but with a little TLC it sang like a canary…..sturdy these old Gibsons, thought I would have a hard time selling but it sold in less than one week!….fire souvenir status I guess…..

Gotta love those Anniversary birds, such a unique finish. I even put Optima Gold Rounds on mine to complete the gold look and they sound great.A couple of quick shots from the our courtyard. Will get some better shots another time.

It's good when you know what you're getting- when it's good. But I'd Run at the Hot Gates to plug in my Fender tube amp. I'm just kinda 'not right' that way.
I came very close to buying one of those about ten years ago. It was cheap and in good shape. I didn't do it. What a fool!
I lived in Santa Cruz from '81-'90. The Loma Prieta earthquake sent me packing. I miss the live jazz outside of the Cooper House everyday.

Spent a lot of my San Jose high school years bumming around that city along with Watsonville and Carmel. Live just north of Los Angeles now but still make it up to the Santa Cruz area a few times a year. Will probably swing by SC on my way home from Bodega Bay in a week and will probably stay in SC or Monterey wile I’m up in Salinas for the Rodeo next month, and we normally go up for at least one of the Bands on the Beach series during the summer, plus the Concours at Pebble Beach. Lots of fun things to do in that area. Chuckys in a little slice of heaven there.
