Thunderbird Club

Our Queens suggestion of the Greco should not be ignored, I've been looking for one myself but I wouldn't overlook the Epiphone Vintage Pro now called the 60s Thunderbird. I was absolutely blown away when these first came out, so much so I bought three. Best Thunderbird built since the 60s imho. Better than Gibson's Bicentennials or any modern offering. My 2 cents. Ah I just reread the original post, a Thunderbird II. Yeah Greco is the only game in town unless you convert a Vintage Pro
You're one up on me. Braggart.

It's a B-17G, that belongs to the Commemorative Air Force, based out of Arizona, it's out on tour.

Sound. We need THAT sound that goes along with it!!!

It was not all that noisy as they were warming up, taxiing etc. much louder as it flew over. Frank was riding in the waist gun position and he said at takeoff they stand on the brakes and run the engines up to full power and the plane really shakes and is very loud inside (earplugs were required). It was, I think, a memorable experience for him.

No, she liked to try to shame me for wanting to play and be a normal kid. She often would take away my Playstation 1 or the 2 without any reason, I was never a problematic kid, never gave any troubles, my teachers always commended that I was one of the most polite and well-behaved kids on the classrooms. Of course that never was enough for my mother, she loved comparing me to my oldest sister and I always came up short and leaving something to be desired in her opinion. Always made me feel small and insignificant, suffice to say we've never had a good relationship. (Sorry about that, didn't meant to offload)
It’s ok, this is partly a support group:D
As a parent I’m horrified to hear your story:eek:

I love those old Chryslers (& Chrysler products.....)

Kinda a shame how the auto industry went from such awesome looking cars in the past, to the......less-than-awesome-looking cars of the 80s (& 90s/00s/10s/20s........) :(

Were money no object(IT IS!), I'd have sumpin' like this, on modern running gear.

I wouldn’t mind a modern Challenger. But yeah, everything I can afford pretty much sucks these days. I’m relegated to driving Subarus for their value, utility and all wheel drive which I can’t live without. But I would rather drive a 60’s to ‘73 Mopar.
