Thunderbird Club

View attachment 4779575 Bird sighting on Spotify. I’ve heard of this group Silversun Pickups but never listen to them. Not sure how it got on my playlist. The Queen may have better legs but happy to see this bird being front and center.

Because they are freaking awesome, and Spotify realized you knew us, and we love us some Nikki and her Thunderbird. Just watch out for Marshall; he gets a bit possessive.

I don't usually like pop or listen to it ABBA and Roxette being exceptions, but I wanted to see what you all thought of this:

I like it. I recommend that you explore an up and coming L.A. artist, Pearl Charles. There is a lot more to this amazing singer/songwriter than than this Abbaesque tribute. She is fabulous.

I’m very willing to share. She is a great bassist and Thunderbird player. She composes her own lines and her playing is always perfect for the song. Silversun Pickups are in my top ten of bands I listen to. And I listen to a lot of music.

Don't think I ever heard of them or saw one. Reverb has them new for $299. May be one of the best bargains around.

Very 70's, love the aesthetic. I could swear I've heard this one before somewhere, the rythm sounds familiar...

Nah, I don't use Spotify. Maybe in the radio? My oldest sister and her husband like pop and tune in their cars radio to stations that play only pop, so that might have been it, I think...
She has an eclectic catalog of songs. Pop, rock, alt country, you name it. Were this the seventies. eighties or nineties, record companies would have pushed her to stardom. Today it’s different. She is my favorite new artist.

I love those old Chryslers (& Chrysler products.....)
Kinda a shame how the auto industry went from such awesome looking cars in the past, to the......less-than-awesome-looking cars of the 80s (& 90s/00s/10s/20s........) :(

Maybe something like this? :thumbsup:

:thumbsup: Could not possibly agree more. So many mandates manufacturers have to meet they are left with few options to make cars look good.

I like your style! That looks great!

I wouldn’t mind a modern Challenger. But yeah, everything I can afford pretty much sucks these days. I’m relegated to driving Subarus for their value, utility and all wheel drive which I can’t live without. But I would rather drive a 60’s to ‘73 Mopar.
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

We kept my mother-in-law's '09 Buick LeCrosse after she passed because it was paid for, garage kept, low miles and never had anything wrong with it. It is one of the most ugly, or boring cars I've seen (and it's a boring grey to boot). Buick....Which used to ooze style. Our Chrysler Town and Country Limited is more stylish than the Buick. I drive a '08 GMC Acadia my dad bought new and will not get rid of that. Looks good (to me), very comfortable, rides great and has been very dependable.

My cousin had one of these monsters in the same color. Even this beast looks over the top stylish compared to modern most offerings. Even the back bumper looks good and thought out.
