Fanned frets make my head hurt, now there are fanned strings? It's marketing I tell you! No way to get the strings crooked to line up with the crooked frets.
Seriously, I can’t believe how incredibly easy this thing is to play. My biggest issue with it right now is occasionally I’ll start off on the wrong string because I don’t play 5 strings very often anymore. But these new flats are absolutely fantastic, I think I like them even better than Cobalts, which are/were my favorite flatwound.
I think I’m gonna take your advice and put a set of GHS Precision Flats on the BaCH VP. That should give me a lot of different options across the birds.
Time and A Word, the second album, is a really good record. Squire was developing his sound. And I always liked Peter Banks guitar playing; I was a big Flash fan too.

That looks exactly like my first bass. It was the definition of catastrophic neck dive. It's disappearance from my ownership was completely unlamented.
I was once traded to a new hockey team for a warm six pack. Does that make me semi-professional?
