I see Dave can’t sleep either. Then I realized he’s still on the other side of the world.

Being 12.5 hours ahead of PDT isn’t a guarantee I can sleep eitherI see Dave can’t sleep either. Then I realized he’s still on the other side of the world.
I'm 77. Still gigging, just not as much as we should be.Sorry to hear that. Doesn't he know that's one of the ways you stay young?
last gig with this lineup tonight…..
Jerry (keyboards/guitar) is 72 and doesn’t wanna haul gear anymore…..bummed…
Yes. They were stock on Gibsons from 2015 to 2017. I have one on my ‘15 Reverse and installed one on my ‘13 NR. I love them and prefer them over over the Hipshots (which I have on an Epi with mixed results) because they look better and the string height and intonation lengths are more adjustable. That being said, if your three point isn’t giving you problems don’t fix what ain’t broke. My main issue with three points is that sometimes the ball end wraps extend over the saddles. I also like the feeling of stability the Babicz provides. YMMV.Anybody have one of these on their T-Bird:

I was thinking about headstock options for my incoming headless Explorer. As much as I like the NR headstock shape, IMO it doesn’t go with that body.Thunderbird adjacent......

There’s always the Gibson arrowhead shape or the hockey stick shape.I was thinking about headstock options for my incoming headless Explorer. As much as I like the NR headstock shape, IMO it doesn’t go with that body.
Glossy. They also come in chrome and nickel. My ‘95 has a Hipshot on it and I’m not crazy about it. Nothing wrong with it but I always want better.
Is your black and if so is it gloss or semi, or flat?
I actually have examples of each I could copy. I’m leaning toward headless though, using Banjo-style tuners mounted in a cavity behind the bridge. There’s always the Gibson arrowhead shape or the hockey stick shape.
I think you have a new career ahead of you in safe cracking.Ok, so on the new to me ‘95 Thunderbird hard case, the previous owner must have not known or forgot the three digit combo for the latch and had just unscrewed it and left it attached. I fiddled with it trying to see if I could “crack” it by keeping tension on it and catching the grooves. Gave up on that real fast and decided just to start at 000, and do ten or so each time I’m in the garage or using the case.. got as far as 007, and bam! That was it. Usually my luck has it that it would be 997, and I wouldn’t have gotten there for a month. If I could only get that lucky with other things…
Note to self, next time in SF be sure to remember 007 Tbird case code.Ok, so on the new to me ‘95 Thunderbird hard case, the previous owner must have not known or forgot the three digit combo for the latch and had just unscrewed it and left it attached. On the topic of cases, what is the best gig bag for this?

What don't you like about the Hipshot? I have them on my 2013 Reverse and NR. I have the factory-installed Babicz on my 2018. I always liked Hipshots and the Babicz wasn't available yet in 2013, but I'm very happy with them on those. The Babicz also seems nice. The one thing I like about Hipshots that others don't offer is string spacing adjustment. I like narrow spacing. Though, I think the Babicz spacing is very similar to the narrowest spacing on my Hipshots. So that argument may be a wash.My ‘95 has a Hipshot on it and I’m not crazy about it. Nothing wrong with it but I always want better.
