Honestly I like my Epiphone Vintage Pro Thunderbirds better than my Gibson 2022 Nonreverse Thunderbirds. It's better built and sounds better imho. To each thier own of course. If you want more bass out of the Epi 760 Probuckers I find the tone control very effective.

Saw a flock fly on to the roof of a two story house. Problem for them was the building integrated solar roofing panels. Their claws had nothing to grab on to and they all turned into bowling balls. Forgot they could fly.

Speaking of 760 transplants..the one on the left received a successful transplant from the one on the right.
I put a set on Chinabuckers in the Embassy to fill the holes..They both sound great.

I can’t say I’ve ever been playing my VP and thought it lacked bass.
