Thunderbird Club

Contact Reverb say they posted a false and libelous review. Ask them to remove it.
The review can't be removed, however I got in touch with Reverb and told them the situation, they told me to wait and see what they can do. I reported that scammer. Will have to wait and see what happens, I guess...

Wow! Most of us drink a pint or two, but an entire pot? I’m impressed!

Seriously, home brewing I assume. Anything special about this batch?
Fine tuning the 805 recipe. I was going to do an oatmeal stout but my son in law is coming for Christmas and he’s more of a lager or lighter ale drinker. 2.5 gallon batch (24 bottles).

Cool. I know nothing about brewing beer. From the time you start the batch, how long before you can (or should) drink it?
Well, if you kegged and use CO2, 2 week’s minimum. I carbonate in the bottle. So, that’s 2 weeks in the fermenter and the 2 weeks in the bottle. I think aging in the bottle for 3 weeks mellows the result.

A couple of years ago I sold my only fretless bass, never really played it much, not many songs called for it. I’m playing a lot more jazz and swing now, which fretted works just fine on, but fretless would work as good or better. Been eying one of these for a while now but have no experience with Eastwood…

wonder what it would sound like with a Tbird pup in place of the stock pickup.

Just let Willy babysit one of your Thunderbirds while out for dinner and BAM! When you come back you'll have a fretless with Thunderbird pickups. :smug:

I just hope that it won't land me on trouble, the seller's lying to make me look bad, wouldn't put anything past him at this point...

Just tell the truth and let them know he's not telling the truth, any written communications between you and him will help too. I bought a bass, asked the seller to hold it for a few months until I got back, he agreed, meanwhile prices went way up because of the pandemic and he changed his mind and refunded my money minus a storage fee with virtually no notice and sold it for a lot more money. I complained and they made him refund the rest of it. I was PO'ed though, it was a cool bass, 1962 EB-0 with an added bridge pickup and it was pleked. The work was done by Mike Lull too. Oh well.

You might (might not) like the album he did with Alison Krauss. There is a live version/documentary of them doing the album that's better than the recorded version. I was amazed. Really different. Most interesting thing he's done since LZ for my tastes. Some songs were her's and some his/LZ. Whoever thought to put those unlikely two together was on top of their game.

Yes, I’ve got both of the albums they did together amongst my playlist.
