Would the Silicon Valley Boys be a good name for a computer generated Bluegrass band from Cali? First release, "Silicon Valley Breakdown," or "meltdown" to reflect modern times. Some people just gotta invent!
Is there a market for it? No.
Can it be made commercially available at a reasonable quality and price point? Not really.
Was it fun to build and did it give the builder a sense of accomplishment? Heck yeah!
Screw the market! Tinkerers Unite!
Personally, I’m not into the Mario Brothers sound or the early Silicon Valley look, but it sure was a creative endeavor.![]()

Classic case of Cabinet EnvyIt might seem odd, but it really BOTHERS me that guitar cabs (4x12) are bigger than bass cabs(4x10). Obviously we know why but I feel like bass is so much bigger and more powerful, they should be bigger. I always run 2 810s and still feel its not enough. No, not compensating or any of that nonsense, more just looks bad ass to me.
