Thunderbird Club

My friend in Kentucky sent me this pic a little bit ago. He picked this up for $300. Pretty sure its an Epi body with a G&L neck.

That looks great. Normally I think dark fretboard on a Thunderbird, but that combo looks perfect.

I know of two people who lost a saddle on a darkened stage when a string broke. Rare, but it happens. I can be a klutz; I managed to dump the saddles my first string change. But my biggest beef is not enough adjustability.
I confess to dumping several when I first did a good stringless cleaning on the '76. Learned my lesson...

Good eye. Definitely a SuperTone. Looks like a bolt-on Epiphone body?

Thats what I thought. Modified Epi body.

I did it the first time I changed strings on my 76. Years later I did it again because I wasn't paying attention. Since then the blue painters tape has kept me from being a total idiot, at least in that area.

JB in his absolute prime - Gibson NR Firebird guitar content ... huge Sunn ss amps, clear lucite Vibes drum set, and of course a Fender Jazz Bass with a blocks & bound neck (late '60s-early '70s) - nothing said SHOW-BIZ like these visuals. Party till the time changes!

I’m searching for those 410H cabs. Not that expensive, just very hard to find…

Looks 3D printed to me.

Yes, I guess that's what I meant to say - amazing sharpness of the icon for something so small. You could fill it with white (or any colour for that matter) paint if you wanted it to stand out and it would still look crisp.
