Good eye. Definitely a SuperTone. Looks like a bolt-on Epiphone body? Not sure thats a Hamer body, but it definitely looks like a cool Bird body!!! Can you post a pic of the back of the body?
Looks like the imprint of a Hipshot Supertone bridge.
Just ordered one for better or for worse. My eyes are still watering from the currency exchange and the discovery that eBay is now collecting GST (Goods & Services Tax) on items below $1000 on behalf of the govt…Follow-up on the T-bird finger-rest post from a few pages back. [post #227039/page 11352] It arrived with a couple of heavy-duty picks and a couple stickers. It's hard to tell what it's made of - but it is solid. (not hollow like a plastic Fender finger-rest) It has a light-catching striation like a chunk of carbon. I doubt that's what it is but whatever it is, it holds the (presumably CNC laser-cut miniature 'T-bird' icon cut extremely well. Very clean/crisp and accurate details.

It was a bit pricy for what it is (3x's what a hollow Fender rest costs) .., but the quality is top-notch and I give them kudos for coming up with it. Where else are you going to find one?

...and this factored in to why I bought one - happy to support something MIA

maybe it's from the laser-cutting process...

the striations become activated by light - hard to depict in a still photo

Picks appear to be made of the same material - thick and textured (for our playing pleasure...)I took one for a test-run... a warmer, thuddy tone and kinda fun. Will have to try it at the next rehearsal.

I know of two people who lost a saddle on a darkened stage when a string broke. Rare, but it happens. I can be a klutz; I managed to dump the saddles my first string change. But my biggest beef is not enough adjustability.I change strings reasonably often as on most of my basses I prefer the brightness and clank, when that goes away I want new strings. Having changed strings many times on a lot of different basses one thing I've never done is flip it over, who does that?
Having broken E and A strings onstage a few times I can say that it's not a big deal, your broken string holds the saddle in place.........I finished the song and picked up my spare - Playing live 1 bass = 0, 2 basses = 1.
Re Lobster, I think he's mostly apeing Gibson haters, it's a popular thing to do and he's obviously on YT to make some $$$ and be some sort of celeb, he's a much better bassist than I am, I'm a hack with a pick that plays too hard, but as it turns out the NR seems to sound great when I flog it.
Regarding the QC on his bass - yes, Gibson should do better, the bow in the PG and bubbling paint should not have left the factory - My simple fix is to buy my new Gibson basses from Sweetwater, they check everything and don't ship basses with flaws, my 2021 arrived perfect, no paint flaws, nicely set up and at the same price all the major dealers were selling at.
Easy fix: don't do that(slide).Heck, they could darn near Plek it for that price.
With the right tools, filing down fret sprout should take less than one hour. At a $50 hourly rate the most you should pay would be $100. Leveling is a whole different story and much much more involved.
Just to be clear, fret sprout as I’ve always used the term, refers to the ends of the fret protruding ever so slightly out each side of the neck. So that when you run your hand down the length of the neck, like you would do on a typical slide, your hand catches on each fret end. It’s annoying at best and even be painful in some circumstances. It can happen to any bass, I’ve had it happen on an Alembic with otherwise pristine fretwork.
Very cool thumb(or whatever)rest. I'd get one, but I rest my thumb on the pup cover.Follow-up on the T-bird finger-rest post from a few pages back. I did the same.....but I wasn't just doing string-change, but clean-up as well. Also found out later the saddles are numbered for correct positioning.....
One of the things I like about the 3-point is its level of adjustability.
The only time I need individual string height adjustability is on 5-string basses.
Otherwise, I'm just going to set the strings equal to fretboard radius anyway......

That looks super cool Jeff. Wish I was there
Depends on how well they can play in synch. Two uprights at the same time? Wasn't one enough?
