[2] If you're looking for long, inexpensive straps, these and related Dunlop straps are the bomb.
- Fingerless biking gloves don't impede my bass playing at all. They're going to come in handy Saturday evening when I play. Presumable unpadded gloves would work even better. To be fair, I'm using my older pair; the newer ones are a bit grippy over the gel pads so I haven't tried those.
- I ordered a couple of D'Addario shoulder pads for guitar/bass straps: D'Addario PW-GSP Gel Shoulder Pad for Fabric Straps . I've only got a few minutes in on them, but they're comfy so far. I think they'll help when I'm playing longe. The 2" Dunlop D38[1] and D67 series 65"[2] straps work great for the most part, but after extended playing time they start eating into my shoulder. And no, they're not sweating acid; that's Jeff you're thinking of.
