I bought one used bass (FCS Kubicki Ex-Factor) from GC many years ago (late '90s?), but I have more recently (still years ago!) bought an 18" Carvin cab which I still use for my rehearsal space rig. I got it after using one as a backline at a club in SF that no longer exists. (where this pic was taken)

No idea, don't really care anyway, hollywood isn't what it used to be, and I've never really cared about movie celebs with a few notable exceptions like; Diane Keaton, Bette Midler, Martin Short, Liam Neeson, Goldie Hawn, Cher, Meryl Streep and Susan Sarandon.

the one that “should be a breeze and go quick”……will fight you till the end…just as I get the preamp done and revisit the power amp (had already tested ok) with a brand new set of EL-34s a friggin Bumblebee .1 decides to go leaky and takes out one of the brand new EL-34s……aaarrggghh….
oh well…..

Tube amps seem more like organic systems, living creatures than electronic pathways and components. I have that monster Fender Bassman thing/Tubezilla, and sometimes I want to get rid of it. But that one's more like half organic and half cyborg... It's the Robot Chicken of tube amps, lol.
Tube amp techs have a whole other gig going on. I salute you, Chuck!
And I salute the guy who just fixed Tubezilla...

String spacing...? Bar pu's or non-exposed pole pu's would be best. Wilkinson makes a good/affordable bucker w/& w/o poles.
