Thunderbird Club

No. I order online from Sweetwater, Musicians Friend, AMS, etc.

Pretty good service from them too.
I did order a bass online from LMcQ recently and got it delivered in 3 days or so. Stock set-up was good, but had to tweak it a couple of days after. I even got a call from them, to confirm the arrival date, which is rare these days. Can't say if it would work the same for USA shipping, but I'm thinking most probably.

I most probably think most of the time anyways...

not me thanks…

but it is my New Year’s resolution to get my hands on a Mike Lull T4!!

cheers !
If you land one, you will be very happy. I might even trade the pixie dust 2001 for a Lull. Maybe. Probably not. Ah, who am I kidding, I need another bass one of these days.

If I'm not referred to as Man, Dude, or Bro when I enter, I immediately leave. It's all about the experience.
The GC in Seattle is pretty hands off. They are paying attention, they just aren't underfoot all the time. The store also doesn't suffer from max volume Smoke on the Water all the time, so there's that bonus, too.

Even right b4 Christmas, the bass got from IN to FL in ~4 days. Usually 3. No complaints.

A little something to help with the GAS....
If you happen to come to Seattle, the welcome mat is out and we could crank it up a bit.

And that right there is the holy grail, according to me.

That photo makes it look huge. Alexander Calder meets Mike Lull.

Nice, I have a reissue.
It probably isn't a world class neck-diver. Let go of an old one and the headstock will head toward the floor...and keep going till it hits you on the right side of the head. That's the only thing I don't like about it. The rounded body isn't as comfortable as a Thunderbird or something with a forearm taper. The neck is just as perfect as an old Thunderbird.
