tube chassis don’t like moisture where organic films can develop within the interconnect….dry warm is where they thrive….if you gonna keep it in a basement the trick is to use it regularly, if not, charge it rent for a room…..

I use it every day. Pretty much, since I’m here most of the time. I’m looking into efficient space heat for down
there which I’ll get once the renovation work is done which will hopefully be very soon.

Yep, there’s a reason for the saying “We’re gonna put the screws to ya”. It changes the tone of your voice, the same way it changes the tone of your bass. You get louder, higher pitched and more frantic sounding, the same as your bass does when you tighten its screws.
That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it!

edit: @Chucky Stiletti thats not to say you don’t look cool on stage, yours is a different kinda cool. JIO is that cool cat beatnik type jazz fusion player with a soul patch, black turtle neck and sunglasses in a dark room. You’re that cool laid back in the pocket surfer beach bum with sandals and a tee shirt type.
