Phone rang through iPad. Fumbled around, hit reply accidentally and it was too late to edit when I came back. Oh well…

My second Genzler 4 On The Floor arrived yesterday. Had a few minutes to fool with it before practice. Got to use it at there and I was amazed how good a little overdrive/breakup sounds. I left thinking why didn't I do this sooner? All settings sounded good and added a little something to the overall tone. Filled in a little. I even used the ACC 360 setting (most overdrive, but only at about 2:00, which is what I used for the others), and that still sounded great. Really looking forward to being able to do some tweaking, but was surprised how easy it was to get great tones. I figured I'd be a little frustrated and would feel the need to keep turning knobs. But I was happy with hardly any adjustments.

Not quite LA via Omaha, but close.

It's from the song "Dang Me".
I had completely forgotten! I loved that song as a kid, but haven’t heard it in forever.

They oughta take a rope and hang me!
High from the highest treeeeee…
Woman, won’t you wait for me?!?!?

Mom bought the album, but Roger Miller was all over the El Paso airwaves then.

Seems Genzler is based right near me. I wonder if they loan out their gear to try out. I'm playing on Sat. I think right near where they are.

I’m sorry. A six-way rotary switch does not provide a “dizzying array” of options unless it grabs you and spins you around.
The kid that wrote that ad would be simply overwhelmed by the array of options from this rotary device....

Worth a call or visit maybe. I'm very impressed and didn't expect that to be the case. So far, it does exactly what I had hoped and sounds as good or better than the clips online. It can do distortion, but there are likely a good many other pedals that do that better if distortion and fuzz is the goal. I believe there was discussion of them considering a true distortion/fuzz pedal that was more aggressive. but that hasn't happened and may never come to be. But if you want something sweet and kind of subtle, yet makes a very real difference, it's worth considering.
