I hope you're doing a little Lovin' Spoonful with that.![]()
Sometimes I solder the braid to a bit of solid copper wire and cover the joint with heat shrink. Then I solder the solid wire to the pot case. It makes it a little easier to deal with.27204648[/URL], member: 371933"]Optical illusion. Depth of focus makes it look close but it is well above the lugs. After I took the picture, I fixed it just in case.
What's going on here? I haven't been here for two days and only had 5 pages to go through.![]()
I record our rehearsals…so I can clearly hear my mistakes.Me either. I get a dose of humility every time I play.
I’ve only seen one here and unfortunately it had some finish flaws I couldn’t live with.Spec wise I believe so. But the build quality may be a tad better since they were low run special releases. The neck and fret work on mine feels better than my 2015 Gibby bird.
I got wiped out
By a great bean sprout
Landing on the floor!
Wow, didn't know you were affected. I hope it gets resolved soon and things aren't too terribly uncomfortable.41 hours without power. It was 54F inside when I left for work today. The birds haven't complained so far, but they're just sleeping. There were power PEC trucks on our streets an hour ago per Sharon and neighbors, but I think the're just the crews getting trees away from lines.
I meant to take the white bird outside for a quick shot against the ice on Wednesday, but forgot.
When I saw it, I kept thinking it looked vaguely familiar. And it most definitely does make a great shirt. It’s a cool shirt too.

Really would sound great on a Sparkling Burgundy NR. Just sayin....
Really would sound great on a Sparkling Burgundy NR. Just sayin....A good way to spend more money since you have two sets.
RIC excommunication I’m guessing.Or a reverse in anything except black, white, or tobacco burst. Gibson might gets some of my money if they took the hardware from the recent run of NRs and put it on reverses and sold them in the colors they did the NRs in. Or better yet, a bunch of other colors, too.
Or I'll just have to modify one. I already did! Next to get a new finish will be the fretless, since it's got a thick poly finish that doesn't feel so good. I don't think we have any purists around here. Jio's '64 has an added pickup, Veronica's has a neck repair, Scott has about a hundred NRs, and most of them seem to be reconstructed from toothpicks and then refinished in anything but tobacco burst. I can't imagine a Thunderbird person getting all bent over whether it's 100% original like the 7ender purists do. I don't know what Ric people do if you modify a Ric.
Hey, it’s the least I could do (from an enabling standpoint).
I think the Ric club banishes you if you mod a Ric or purchase a non official Ric.Or a reverse in anything except black, white, or tobacco burst. Well, happy almost birthday then!As Jeff Spicoli would say.. "You D**k"
And I mean that in the best spirit of this club. Sweetwater has three Sparkling Burgundy NR's that I was looking at this morning.
I'm supposed to be the instigator.
Got a birthday next week.
Cheers.

It's a complement. Being named Donald, I was called Duck all the time, so nothing new.As Jeff Spicoli would say.. "You D**k"

Got a birthday next week. I'm getting close.
Cheers.
