OK, technically a Flanger, but the circuitry is the pretty much the same with a different delay in the bucket brigade. And yes, analog bucket brigade.

Never gave those much consideration before, but this one sounds pretty darn good on bass indeed, thx for posting.

I also listened to the Afterglow, but I liked the other 2 much better.

Must be something different from place to place. Rally's here are nasty. Home of the least flavorful burger on earth. (Maybe they boil the hamburgers then brown them.)

A little history. Don't have a clue if the recipe is even close.

I don’t know. There were two or three around us for awhile and they were fine. They closed. Now there’s a Checkers. I’ve only been there a few times over some five or so years now and it’s been pretty good.

I pick ‘em up, play ‘em.
And put ‘em back gently.

The Mars Volta L'Via L'Viaquez.
Oh boy, when I first heard that song so many years ago, I was blown completely away. I simply can't overstate how awesome this song still is. Cedric Zavala is such an underrated vocalist.

Yes, I know, they released it as a single with a music video. But to truly experience it for the work of genius it is, you should listen to the album version.

I’m off meat until Easter Sunday so I had prawns with a veggie stir fry, and received a lecture on cholesterol from my mate. :D
He had a heart attack and his cardiologist is savage on cholesterol for him. I said “6 prawns - I’ll risk it”
I'm not a vegan because I love animals, I'm a vegan because I hate plants!

Part of a 'bird, in part of a case...... since only part of Monday is left?

We had a Shoney's Big Boy in Kingsport in 70's & 80's - I think it may have closed in the 90's? Nobody referred to the "Big Boy" part though, it was just called "Shoney's", and it was definitely not a fast food place.
More of a sit-down restaurant with waitresses & such.....like a Black Bear, I guess.

It was the "fancy" restaurant for the not-rich people, I ate there maybe 4-5 times total growing up....:meh:

Yes, being a franchise it was "_____" Big Boy. When I was in my HS combo - we'd end up at Denny's after our show ordering cheese-frenchies, onion rings and a 'bottom-less' coke.

I think i know what you did there.:)
PCPs have little understanding of CVD (CardioVascular Disease) risk. A series of questions, with answers that they already know, will point out to them where hypercholesterolemia ranks and it primes them to be questioned about the value of therapy.

Although my cholesterol remains very good, I have already had "the talk" with my PCP about why I will never take a 'statin'. I can be a difficult and demanding patient. Because I know things and have done my homework. But I get along really well with specialists because they have done their homework too.

On the other hand, my PCP will ask me what therapy option I want for something mundane and I will answer that it is a disease/therapeutic area I don't think about and will defer to her judgement. I only worry about the 'big' diseases.

Unfortunately I think the entire line is now discontinued. Now I am just waiting for JHS to do a video on them...*

* I think he may have a few years ago. He may have started the rumour that they are Behringer pedals housed in metal boxes.

I lived in Chicago for 10yrs and only ate White Castle mini-burgers once to appease my bike-racer friend Doug, who was born/raised in Chicago. I found it novel at best, but I think you had to grow-up with it as a teen to 'do it' correctly. As in, late on a Friday or Saturday night after clubbing - ordering a dozen and eating all of them! Glad to only hear about that.
I had a job as a night janitor in a trucking company maintenance shed. It was union and paid very well for the time. It was miserable. On the way home, I would stop at a White Castle across from a Timken bearing plant and buy a buck's with of sliders. Six of them, as I recall. That was the fuel I needed to get the rest of the way home and get through a day. Sleep wasn't really a thing while I had that job, but White Castles will always be a favorite. No matter how awful they are.
