Chuck - I didn’t know you had a CRFM! And one of the old SSD ones to boot! You just bumped up another notch in my “guys with good taste” book.
BTW - I don’t wanna hear any more whining about the three point Gibby bridge. That Spector bridge doesn’t even have intonation screws, you loosen the string and tap the saddle into place, hopefully not moving the one next to it as well.

Similar, but his has a super thin neck IIRC.
This one is an older Euro LX in Poplar Burl from the pre trim tone pot days, so it screams well beyond loud and clear with a +18db boost.
I can help with the rebranding part!
I'm thinking that to be true to my style, I will have to do it in purple crayon.
Got something new to experiment with in the package box yesterday......

The new pickup should be back pretty soon, it'll need a new PG and a bridge cover to be complete.

Yes. And the engines weren't in there crooked (sideways). One thing I'm liking about our truck is I can actually work on some things if needed. Heck, I can slide under it without jacking it up.

Lull, the SD custom shop ones are for the green Orville.
What is Lull charging for pickups these days?
Interesting. I don't recall seeing them spring loaded like that before.

I don't know - it doesn't really matter. I visited the shop and chatted with Spencer ( he didn't know that I'm an endorser so I made him aware), had the '64 with me so they could look it over and just asked if he could get me one. He said sure, but it was going to take about 45 days or so, I don't think he wants to sell them separately like Mike did though, he mentioned that folks do contact them wanting to buy, but they are reluctant to sell any as the need them for basses that are on the production schedule. Thus I thought I'd try the Seymour Duncan custom shop ones - they make Lulls.
When I was in high school one of my buddies had an old 1955 Ford F 100 pickup truck with a 6 cylinder engine. There was so much room under the hood, I used to stand inside the engine compartment to help him work on it. Looked similar to this one…

Another eclectic electric bass! Short-scale '65 Teisco Del Rey NB-1 with modded lined-ebony fretless fb, added Guild RI DarkStar bridge pu & Manton RI 4-way pu switch (including kill-switch). Mahogany body & neck, LPB nitro finish. (aged to dark teal)
