Yeah, I’ve all but given up on buying new basses unless they come with a clearance level discount. Very few have the bang for the buck I’m looking for. Nearly all my purchases these days are used equipment, and even that has started creeping up towards the absurd category. And let’s not even get started on shipping costs, that’s already past the absurd level.An example of how high prices are. I like a nice PBass. And a very cool limited run color. But $1050 for an essentially standard MIM PBass is crazy. Even with Quarter Pounders.

That said, there’s always great new and used deals out there but you really have to look hard to find them and you better have the cash in hand because they go quick.
As for British Racing Green - I love that color on cars and guitars! It’s not a P bass but this is one darn nice relic job on a BRG Jazz….
