Thunderbird Club

@Chucky Stiletti
There’s an outside chance I could possibly be at the early August GTC, maybe. Depends on how the wife is doing at the time*.
If nothing else, I might be able to temporarily donate a couple of basses to the mix for folks to noodle on.

*For those concerned about the wife, she’s actually pulling through the cancer challenge quite well. We’re in chemo for the remainder of this week, which will wrap up round four. If progress continues on its current path she should be out of the woods after the next round of chemo three weeks from now. Many many thanks to all those great club members around the world and their friends that put in countless prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts on her behalf. :):thumbsup:

We’re not done yet, but at least the light at the end of the tunnel is getting much much closer and it doesn’t look like an on-coming train.

This truly is the best community on TalkBass!:thumbsup: Rock on!:bassist:
Great news George! Give my best wishes to your wife..

and will haul a fridge instead of my piddly MB 2x12….

I had a '94 Oldsmobile Cutlass years ago, one of the small ones, I took the bottom of the back seat out and fit a fridge in it, also reclined the front driver seat all the way back and fit an upright in it. It was a pain to load and unload though. Head and electric in the trunk

Not to mention if it is a disaster, I can simply return it with 45 days, so no chance of a loss. This works out well as I have instruments set up in E standard, Eb standard and D standard, and go to drop D, Db an C. With my ‘95 and ‘01 Gibby’s and now the Eppi, I’ll have all the “basses” covered!

Now it’s time to sell off a few excess Fenders I have. I think I’ll have to break down and list on the classifieds here. Was really hoping to sell local and avoid shipping…

Wonderful news George! Would love to meet both of you in person!!

Potentially a heck of a deal - not perfect but looks like a solid player, should go fast!

…. and thanks @GBassNorth for posting (and enabling). I just got a tobacco-burst ‘01 a week or so ago and was going down the road of how to change it to white nitro, but this is cheaper, prevents me from defiling a fine instrument, and adds another bass to my way oversized collection.

Really need to part with some of this stuff….
