I love those old Thunderbirds. When I was a kid a guy up the street had a hot rodded jet black '55, wasn't worth anything then, you could hear him taking off, 312 with probably a three speed, it was a standard though, never saw the car up close, I was a little kid.

I never saw the movie but read the book, great book. IIRC he had a big block Chevy convertible in the book.
Cadillac convertible!

Ok, it had a repaint. Marshall must have been involved.

Surprised none of you know this term.

Webtit for tat noun [ U ] us / ˈtɪt fər ˈtæt / something, esp. something annoying or unpleasant, done to someone because that person has done the same thing to you:
Also, that first word has almost got to be a PR0N site.

Looks like you should be able to just get a black 3-point bridge & bolts (no need for inserts, it looks like), either from ebay/reverb/etc., or from a member here who may have an extra, and just bolt it in & do a setup for it. You'll still have holes from that claw, though......
:)

Or a Supertone.

...*For those concerned about the wife, she’s actually pulling through the cancer challenge quite well. We’re in chemo for the remainder of this week, which will wrap up round four. If progress continues on its current path she should be out of the woods after the next round of chemo three weeks from now. Many many thanks to all those great club members around the world and their friends that put in countless prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts on her behalf. :)

We’re not done yet, but at least the light at the end of the tunnel is getting much much closer and it doesn’t look like an on-coming train.
...

Dude. This makes me SO HAPPY.

There’s an outside chance I could possibly be at the early August GTC, maybe. Depends on how the wife is doing at the time*.
If nothing else, I might be able to temporarily donate a couple of basses to the mix for folks to noodle on.
