Was yellow a stock T-Bird color? I love yellow basses and it especially looks good with chrome.

Bob, when new it was "Classic White" kind of a cream color, it was the first Thunderbird I'd seen in years (this was 1989 and I knew nothing about them being disco'd and reissued), I had to have it but it was all of $880.00 new at the time. To buy it I sold several of my late father's rifles that he had given to me ( My wife hated them and I'm not a hunter) and a Kramer Flying Vee bass - It dove like a Stuka over Poland!

…. and thanks @GBassNorth for posting (and enabling). I just got a tobacco-burst ‘01 a week or so ago and was going down the road of how to change it to white nitro, but this is cheaper, prevents me from defiling a fine instrument, and adds another bass to my way oversized collection.
Really need to part with some of this stuff….
