Observational. I kept most of my stupid out of public eye. Watching people at a wedding--even so called hi class people can be enlightening. Like being at the Kentucky Derby. Plenty of object lessons to be had there.

Stand By Your Man is a classic of classics IMHO cut pretty much live in the studio, the dynamics alone are unbelievable, those Nashville people could play.
I can do without Rawhide, to me that is an old TV show . I'm not a big country person, only like certain things, I like just about all rock & roll on the other hand.

I'm not a country fan, but there are a few I do like. This is a classic. Few, if any could sing like George.

Here in the Bay Area for a 'corporate' coffee shop, it's Peet's. (originally partners with Starbucks - but much better) There used to be a good chain called Tully's, but they're gone now. There's also (independent) Phil's here in the Mission (original location) a couple blocks away which has been around for a while. There's a few branches now. And many, many small coffee shops - everywhere.

Peet's is one of my favorites. Always have plenty on hand.

Yes, I think you're right about that. I believe largely due to the locations of each in Ireland. (I realize that's kind of a Capt. Obvious statement!)

Seems like I recall Bushmills being smooth. Ireland's oldest distiller I think was the claim.

And Tullamore DEW, Dubliner etc.
The method used for an Irish Whiskey ensures smoothness I think.

It’s hard to see because there are headstock wings glued onto the edges.

It's still not completely clear, but I kinda' see it now - I've never seen it so far up on the hs. Usually it happens below the hs at the neck.

I'm a fan. In ... 86? ... I saw them in Halifax two nights running when I was at the naval hospital. They played the Misty Moon (officially off-limits) Thurs-Sun. I went Friday and enjoyed the show enough to go back and catch them again on the Saturday. I didn't go Thursday or Sunday as I started at 0730 and it would be too late a night.

My band had a regular gig at Bethesda Naval Hospital just outside of Washington DC in the late 70's and early 80's. It was a big NCO club. Those people were some of the hardest partiers I've ever seen.
The place was packed at load in.
