This type of thing is also happening on eBay - you "watch" an item and sometimes you'll get a notice for a discount for that item. Most likely an automated send-out to instigate a sale.

Years ago they would've. AMTRAK doesn't offer the same number of destinations once available.

BTW, love his playing on Terje Rypdal albums. Huge fuzz sound and very innovating Bass VI work. I've seen him playing a fretted Jazz and Stingray too.

Edit: Just listened to the title track. Definitely sounds like a fretless.

I have an early 60's Reverberocket, one 12" and 18 watts with 6V6's, great guitar amp. No pictures. It needs some work but sounds good. Reverb doesn't work and it's noisy but it overdrives nicely. They're not real common as I guess the jazzers bought them and wanted the clear tone of the older ones so they put 7591's back in them.

Edit, just realized that the amp you have there on the bench has 7591's.

But Grady got to take trip on his favorite part a ways out of town--and his new fav ride.* Had rough few days and did better so we took him someplace he always liked to go and roam around. Hopefully he enjoyed it. He wanted to walk more than I thought, and even headed to a often dry creek he liked to walk in so I guess he did. Honestly didn't know if he would ever get to go back. Should have named him Timex.
*Actually likes to go lay in his area in the cab while I'm out in the garage doing something.

There's a full-sized back door. We didn't stuff him in that small hole. He was just looking out there when we got out.

There aren't enough "likes" for this.

I'm sure he is thinking back on all the great walks he has had in the area and it gives him the motivation to explore more even knowing that it might make him sore the next day.

It sure looks olive green in the pics, very much like one of Frank's Firebirds - but, it could be poorly lit photography too.

I researched the Limited Edition Custom Shops some years back. Because they are great Thunderbirds. I did not find mention of a green one. White, Black or Ebony, Red, Silverburst, Pelham Blue and T.V Silver. IIRC correctly, they did a run of the black ones with the chrome PUPs and bridge and a run with the regular Epi Pups and bridge.

It is entirely possible there are some Olive Green ones as that was a limited Epi color in the late 2000s. I know I’ve seen an old ad for what they offered in that color but I can’t find it now. I don’t recall a TBird. I’ve seen greenish looking ones in pictures where the seller says it’s TV Silver.

I’d buy it just to find out, but no more basses until the basement music room at the mountain house gets repairs finished.

I vote that Dave or Bryan get it and let us know.

As I said, they’re nice basses. Extra attention to fretwork (the fretwork on the three I have is outstanding) and in some cases, the guitar humbuckers. They also included a case. The case for my Pelham Blue one is very nice and much lighter than the Gibson cases.
