Thunderbird Club

I thought so but I wasn't sure. Winters' has a bit of that since Covid when they built their outside stage. But luckily only 2 sides are facing neighborhood houses (south and west) and the outside stage faces north to a gas station/car/motorcycle repair building. East is HW1 so no issues there. Bands can be fairly loud, but just not too loud. All of the outside concessions made during Covid (including parklettes in front of restaurants) are in a state of limbo until the city and municipalities figure out if they will stay or not in the long-term.
I REALLY wish they stay….kind of a euro outdoor street cafe vibe….so much better than everyone inside a building especially in summer…

I agree, but if so then some need "upgrading" - after 3yrs some are lookin' pretty ghetto.

my brother from another mother, son of a renowned Member of Parliament (Isle of Wight), was devastated he couldn’t go to the coronation….British are goofy..…

Wow, thank you so much for this!

I'm leaning towards the '21. Brexit makes the '13 on guitarsmith a bit more expensive nowadays due to customs expenses.

I watched many videos of the new ones and they all seem to sound really good!
You’re very welcome. It will compliment your ‘06 Reverse and your Fenders, Ric, and Horner quite nicely. Enjoy! And be sure to post pics when you get it!

Love it Jeff. It's funny because many songs like this were my parents favorites in the late '60s, when I was listening to Sgt Peppers, Disraeli Gears and Are You Experienced! (as in, not interested!) Part of "maturing" - or at least letting restrictions based on youth go so as to fully appreciate good music regardless of where it's fitting in. I bet if I would have heard Scott Walker then, when it was new - I would have chalked it up for something my parents would have liked!

And of course, Casino Royale was the theme song to the only non-franchise James Bond movie staring David Niven and Woody Allen in 1967. (later done under the same title as a JB franchise movie w/Danial Craig - 2006)

yeah, we tried to play that “unplugged” and still got the boot for being “too loud”…..never even went over 100 on the SPL meter!….:banghead:

Jeez, that's being pretty picky on volume. That's not loud at all--unless at a funeral. The people talking may have been that loud!

I've measured our stage volume and found our sweet spot at church on the plat form is around 85. And that's standing next to the drums and my 410. We can easily creep above that, but in that room things start sounding less than clear for musicians and singers. I'm pretty sure FOH is beyond that and still isn't loud.

they used to terrorize goody two shoes :)laugh:) Rush when on tour together….something tells me a lot of that had to do with Pete…
A book I have on Bon Scott states that he and Pete Way were drinking buddies. On tour together at times Bon preferred to travel on the UFO bus. Bon of course, is one that left us to soon due to alcohol.
