I also found you on Facebook and followed.
I hope you don't mind me plugging your page here:

It also makes me a little less self-conscious of plugging mine :D

Yes, we are on fb... but I was kicked off a year or so ago. I started it and luckily had Pauls wife Sandy and Kirstin as co-administrators or they would have removed it. I think I told the story here after it happened, but ones account can be deleted w/o any reason and there is absolutely nothing one can do to resolve it. I have no idea what rule I broke and there is no way to find out. (no way to contact a fb representative - I even sent letters to their headquarters just south of SF) Attempting to deal with it, I learned it has happened to thousands of people - you wake up one day and they send you a 30 day notice, but don't offer a reason or recourse to address it. Then, after 30 days - your page is gone. I lost my personal page, and my Gildaxe page. I wish I would have known about the co-administrator angle as I would have done that to keep both up.

But no-one knows about this until it happens to you or a friend. I highly recommend anyone on fb to get at least one co-administrator on your fb page, best if it's your mate so you can access your page if fb decides to remove you. And needless to say, I wasn't posting hate-speech etc - and neither were all the thousands of people removed. It happened around the time of the META launch, so possibly some algorithm issue. The Facebook headquarters just south of SF will not let you anywhere near the two locations unless you are an employee. Apparently they are not required to comply with standard business user laws - probably because it's free to be a part of and they make the rules.

I wish I still had my Gildaxe page as it was where I kept up a daily dialogue of my custom builds etc. And I wish I could access TSC's page because Kirstin with her now 2 kids doesn't do much to keep it current, which I totally understand. But otherwise - Zuck F'erberg and the horse he rode in on.

Use a new email address. They aren’t all that smart.

…or just avoid it all together. So far that strategy has worked well for me on Facebook, Twitter, TicTok, Reddit, Rumble, and every other social media site. I made an exception for TalkBass because it’s by and large civil discussions with a common interest, especially in this club.

Hey V, could you post a list of your upcoming shows? We're planning to visit the Bass Church this summer and if we can catch a gig, all the better![/QUOTE]

Irv, "the Bass Church?"

Here's our upcoming shows that are official, we have two others that are likely,
June 10 Pt. Townsend Pride, 4:30-6:00
June 30 Jules Maes Saloon on Airport Way just north of historic Boeing Field.

Upcoming shows

fb was the only social media I used other than tb. I only miss it when I think about it, and I don't think about it much anymore.

Cool!
My daughter wants to go to this place:
The Bass Church

Trade you for the ‘15.

Good try. Uh, no. Eat your heart out.

Love how you got the cab up like that Marshall.
Know it's gotta make a huge difference in not coupling with the floor.
Yeah. I hear absolutely every mistake. Not sure how much coupling was going on given the carpet and the casters (which I could remove). It is a very nice rig. I’ve had it two+ years. If I bought it today, it would cost $800 more. Ouch!

I love that song! Always up for the new Pornos (Ahem!)

We've yet to try it, but once Kirstin's ready to rehearse again after having her second daughter - we'll give it a go. There's a few live versions of it on YouTube that will help also.

I used to hear that a lot running sound, whether at gigs or church. I’d tell everyone the same thing, to pick their seat based on the volume. Most people refused to listen. I don’t miss that.

The most logical solution to a situation escapes most peoples ability to process basic logic, and even when simple attempts at education occur - those people take offense. Can you say, lost cause?

That’s a nice version. With Kathryn. Neko must have been away doing her solo thing. They’re flexible like that. Such a great band. When Kathryn and Neko are both there, the vocals are even more sublime. And John is an underrated bassist. His lines are always perfect for the song. I love them.

I'm not versed in the band and don't know the players, but when I first heard the song - I loved it!

805 on left, clone on right. Looks like there will be 2 bottles of clone left for GTG samples. No guarantee as that adds another couple of months to the aging. Current opinion is clone has a hair more hops.

I avoid hairy hops like the plague... :)
