Thunderbird Club

Use daily. It makes a difference. At least for me.

Spot on! This stuff works so much better for me than Claritin or other oral allergy medicines. The key with the Flonase type spray is to start using it a couple of days in advance of allergy season and continue through the season. Works great for me with pretty much no side effects.

The camellia has already bloomed and faded. Daffodils and hyacinths have come and gone. Now we have columbine blooming and some other bulbs. Strawberries are blooming and setting fruit. The cherry bloomed in a big way this spring. Redbuds are doing their thing, with blossoms poking out of the bark like they do on those trees. The roses are growing but not setting buds just yet. Now it's all about maple pollen, which makes my nose unhappy and coats the car with yellow dust. We can tell time out here, at least roughly, by what's blooming. There's almost always something in bloom, with only about December and January without flowers. Living here is a joy. I suppose there are other places where there are flowers year 'round, too, but we have such an ongoing cycle that it's perfect.

I love trees and flowers and the garden.
Daffodils as of last Friday up at the mountain.

I have the 1968 Pat Paulson for President album somewhere. It’s probably at my parents’ house. It is hilarious! Yeah, I was only 10. And a closet nerd.
I had the LP as well. Loaned it out to a friend while in my senior year in high school and never got it back. Was really funny dry humor and political satire at the time. Wish I still had a copy.

I start it 04/01. Before the privets bloom. I can take a break in the summer for a bit. But then use it in the fall starting 09/01 through at least Halloween or Thanksgiving.

It's bad here. I've been fighting it for weeks. You want to be outside and but comes at a high price much of the time. I was putting another garage cabinet together a few days ago and was sneezing, had itching eyes and had snot constantly running out my nose. Not pretty. Had to take a Benadryl and felt draggy the rest of the day. I'm allergic to a number of trees and about every grass known to man. But poison ivy? I could possibly eat the stuff. Go figure.

I've had allergies all my life, I take Loratadine for it, works well and doesn't make me sleepy like Benadryl. Try Loratadine 10 mg, one per day should do it. I have Asthma too but that has just about gone away since I was a kid, I had it bad.

Beautiful Japanese maple V! That’s your backyard? Wonderful!

The hillside has a lot of water in it which weeps out quite a bit over the 11 month rainy season, thus the rockery, lava rocks and smooth river rocks. I really like Japanese maples, 3 more in the yard, one green the other two red.
