Sounds like a pick, no?
Ross said once that Neal would often come up with bass parts, so I wonder if Neal ever played bass on records.

He needs a priest. But he did confess to everyone here, so that counts for something.you sinned again?…..know a lawyer if you need one….![]()
It's just.Is it just or did this thread get so convoluted that it will require mind altering substances to work it out?
Might need the clergy instead. Do we have a Thunderbird Reverend?
G&L MFDs can do that as well.once saw George @GBassNorth mention strong pickup magnets pull on the strings and thought it was an exaggeration…..well, adjusted the saddle on the A string here a week ago and it seems like it got misadjusted (pulled down towards pup) again…
the saddles screws will actually turn as a function of the downward force? what else would explain it? pretty gnarly..

Go to the truck, put your clothes back on and it will make sense. Is it just or did this thread get so convoluted that it will require mind altering substances to work it out?
What's happening with your black one that Gibson has?Not going through that debacle again.
It's always been this way. Some of us are naturally like this. No alteration necessary. Is it just or did this thread get so convoluted that it will require mind altering substances to work it out?

No longer in truck. In a pile in the garage. Doubt anything will help exceptGo to the truck, put your clothes back on and it will make sense.
really? you talking from first hand experience? if so, how do you fix without lowering the pup? you think super glue on the saddle screw would do it?..G&L MFDs can do that as well.
Not my preferred detergent, but whatever. No longer in truck. In a pile in the garage. Doubt anything will help except

On either G&L I don't have the pickups that close to the strings, if someone were to get them close by the time your fret, I'm sure it can happen if there is too much play in the saddle screw. I've not had what you experienced, but could see it happening with the right circumstance. I wouldn't use super glue, but something like gasket sealer or even a touch of some kinds of chalk. Just enough to keep the screw from being loose enough from turning. Might even get some thin paper to put in the hole then but the screw back in. I would use super glue as last resort I think.really? you talking from first hand experience? if so, how do you fix without lowering the pup? you think super glue on the saddle screw would do it?..
That might make your clothes come back off. But that's your business. No longer in truck. In a pile in the garage. Doubt anything will help except

Understatement as a general rule.Something very strange going on here.

haunted J Bass lmao, thing is I haven’t been able to putz with it because of the stupid sticker but have been able to these past couple of days since Rosa’s been gone on biz….I just noticed that the string did it again…..sometimes I think I’m clueless to when it comes to setting up an instrument because so often I get a bass that I don’t want to mess with because it plays so well the way it was setup by the previous owner and I’m scared of messing it up and making it worse not being able to get back to where it was……it took me months to use the claw on my Greco because the previous owner did not use it and it was setup so optimally…..maybe it’s all in my head…..subjective stuff….Something very strange going on here.
