very cool… both sound good, prefer the Studio’s tone but seems like the CP sits better in the mix…
The ones being used on my project bass are 2012 Fender Wide Range Humbuckers. Harder than heck to find.
Cool, but yeah, too hard to tell with different strings. They can drastically change tone. But I just saw this the other day.
The difference in the Studio is the action is really low, pickups are really high, and round wounds. It plays really hot. One thing I did notice is turning up the Tone doesn't really affect the volume, where as, turning up the tone on any of my Epi's really increases the volume.

Both sound very good. The Studio seems to have more attack and the CP seems to bed into the song better, but overall very similar. With identical strings they would both sound much closer I’m sure.

I bet it would be about the same difference as between my 2013 Reverse and 2013 NR. Biggest difference is neck-through and set-neck. Tonal difference is minimal. I think the NR is slightly ballsier.

And the incredible neck on my ‘15. My BaCH’s neck is close to my ‘02 Ibenez EDB500 and ‘86 Peavy Foundation with a skinny ‘93 neck. Both of those basses play great. I need to get a set of calipers…. Although I’ve never found a bass neck I couldn’t be comfortable with.

Owning a BaCH Thunderbird is recommended for all club members. If you don’t like the pickup, change it. Very much well worth the investment.there will be more BaCHs than Gibsons..….I remember you commenting on the neck of my IV (BaCH) favorably comparing it to that of your 64 at this little shindig….
