Thunderbird Club

Some cool magnet configurations - with all those options it would be helpful/enlightening to have a youtube vid hearing them. Boasting (in the ad copy) about how 3-poles per string is bigger/bassier/better is a bit like "turning up to 11..." I'd like to hear that difference before I'd buy into it.

I agree.

A new song, sort of. More like a reconstruction. I used a bits of another song, made loops of parts etc and managed to build quite a different atmosphere.
I'm all for playing live in the studio and doing it "old style" but I've found that this lap top technology available today has made me to come up with songs (or tracks or atmospheres) I would have never thought of with just, say, acoustic guitar in my hands.

Presnt day recording tech is great!
With my originals band, I do multitrack recordings of rehearsal sessions and use those to develop different bass lines later. Even though there is some bleed of the original bass track in the drum mics, it's surprising how good it can sound.
When we go into a studio to record, we'll go live off the floor for most of it.

The other day I was fooling around with the idea of a double neck Thunderbird.
Made some sketches.
I'd love to actually build one, some day.
But for now they're just crazy ideas ;-)

There's gotta a market for those ?

Nice to see this one (of only ten made in this color) found its way back into the family. ;-)

I'm so happy to have that bass, BaCH and you, really did a great job!

I played my first rehearsal with the white VP and it did make an impression to the lady singers. Wedding gig coming up tomorrow, it'll look good with a black suit (on me!).
Needless to say it sounded great too.
A thunderbird would look good otherwise as well. But a lack of clothes may be pushing it for wedding.:D At least early on. Some can get strange as the night wears on!
