Got mine on eBay from China, don’t recall if it’s printed or a sticker, IIRC it is raised, so probably not a decal, more likely a thin vinyl laser cut sticker, it appears to be much more durable than a decal.
@Engle can probably steer you in the right direction.
The graphics I cut are done with adhesive foil or vinyl. It's pretty tough stuff. Tougher than pickguard material:thumbsup:

sweeet…those the original knobs? if I recall that’s a ‘90 right?..

Yes, it is a 1990 model. I believe the knobs are original based on advertising material from back then. I tried to upload a PDF of the catalog pages. Hopefully it worked.

My black Greco has black hardware, which was actually in great condition except for the bridge. Swapped the bridge for an Epi 3 point so now all the hardware looks nice.

I got lucky when I bought my 1990 white Greco, the hardware was all in excellent condition…

cool, I was asking because my IV is an 89 which would seem to imply 90 was the first year for black hardware including the knobs sunce mine has witch hat type knobs…
cool brochure, don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these….

That old Bird sure seems to show up in a lot of pics. No, not you, the bass! :D
Still happy that you bought that bass.

I love that bass, it's just the best!

That’s a very orderly looking pedal board.
I have a couple of pedals, but never seem to find a use for them. One of these days I’ll probably get bit by the pedal bug, but for now it’s straight to the amp for me.

My pedal board was a cord for years. It has expanded.

If you play out, it can be very useful. I only really have just one or two effects. The rest are utility pedals so I can be self-sufficient and not have to rely on the often crap house amp. Tuner, HPF, and preamp. The rest is dirt, expander, and boost.

have you gigged it yet?

Nope!

Probably on Halloween as we'll be on a big stage and I can avoid our singer - Last show she solidly hit the Greco twice with her arm and the MPC once, she paid the price in bruises and pain the next day.

I just bought this one - it has a raised (probably stick-on) gold bird. That'll work. New 3 Ply Black For Gibson Firebird Thunderbird Bass Style Guitar Pickguard | eBay

Sorry for my tardiness but it’s a work day. I got mine from overstocktoys on eBay. But the bird isn’t raised as much as in your image.

That’s a look I could go for. Sparkling Burgundy or white & black hardware - the high contrast look.

I love that bass, it's just the best!

I’d be too scared to take it out except with an armed escort

I had three pedals in a box for decades…. and didn’t even know what those did..

In the last year or so as I’m heading more towards playing with just a drummer/drum machine I’m exploring sounding bigger.

I go weeks without even plugging in, then I’ll tweak the board, and next time I tweak the board I wonder why it sounds like crap, when I was so pleased with it the last time I plugged in…

here’s my amp/peddle/geetar journey so far….

Bi-Amp set up not sure of the terminology bass/guitar two piece band

That's when your amazement will be added to with respect to that bass. In my experience, live is where the magic happens. (Unless your rehearsal space is large and bigger than a room or basement.)
