To all our Canadians here - yesterday a Canadian won the 9th stage of the Tour de France - Michael Woods of team Israel Premier Tech. A very difficult stage ending on a steep summit. Salute Canada! :thumbsup:

Sorry to hear about the injury. Hope you have a speedy recovery and that the injury doesn't prevent you from attending the GTG.

Ouch! Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately it's a long recovery and you'll need to 'tow the line'. I speak from experience here... recover well Marshall.

Yep, an absolute dill. I would never sell a bass my wife bought me.

I’m pretty safe to say that as she has never shown any inclination to buy me a bass, guitar, keyboard or any other music (noise) maker…

An Aussie won a stage and got the yellow jersey one day last week. It made the mainstream tv news here. He lost it on the next day or so but I don’t recall seeing that on the news. :laugh:

Still a great, and rare, occurrence.

I didn’t even know it was going on. Shows how much interest in the sport declined after the Armstrong debacle.

Yes, that would be Jai Hindley - team Bora-Hansgrohe ... winning a stage in the Tour is a very big deal, regardless of being the overall leader and holder off the Maillot Jaune. (yellow yersey) Bravo for JH and Australia! He's been an activator in the tour so far, helping to make it an exciting (stage) race.
