This is what I’m seeing in my Les Paul Tribute:
The switch is a push/pull on the back of the Vol pot.

The cap is in series with the single coil when the switch is closed.
I’m pretty sure the 2015 Tbirds are the same x2 using separate switches and without the cap.
Edit: And looking at it again the cap is in parallel with the other coil when the switch is closed.

from that drawing, with the switch off it should be brighter, with it on not only should the tone be darker but a slight voicing change should be noticed since the bottom coil and parallel cap will form a frequency selective resonant tank…

Some interesting things there. If I read the serial number correctly, it's a 2011, not 2013. And the bridge in the case looks like one of Scott's 3-point bridges.

The volume pot has a push-pull feature to coil tap the pickup scooping the mids for further tone shaping possibilities.

Crazy me. When I was doing annual maintenance on the basses that are here at the house in the burbs last week, I missed this one. I thought I took it to the other place. Anyway, it needs an 1/8th to a 1/4 turn to tighten the TR. I can’t find a crack pipe wrench here so it’ll need have to wait.

Does a cast count in lieu of boots?

Some odd things going on there.
Bab bridge looks like it’s missing one of the large rear body bolts, why?
Appears the previous bridge was a BadBird, which explains the need for a claw. Was the BadBird and claw utilized to compensate for a slipped body anchor and lifting three point?
Why is the BadBird right rear anchor slot (same location as the missing Bab bridge anchor) all buggard up? What would cause that?
Looks like the claw is not being utilized with the Bab bridge, so why not take it off, like he did with the bridge cover?
Do the claw string slots align with the Bab bridge? Conveniently no straight on frontal shot, so who knows.
These days, I don’t trust (without rear photo verification) any claim that an after market metal can pup isn’t a Chinabucker.
The dates look off as well.
Might be a great buy, or it might not be all that it’s portrayed to be.

Easy - buy it and resell the bass for $350 - then you have a case and $100 profit.

I can confirm that in fact the EB13 with the push pull pots is in fact darker in normal mode (push pull pot in down position) and does acquire both a voicing change and brightness when the pot is pulled up.
The question I have on this wiring scheme - does activation of the push/pull pot actually take one of the humbucker coils out of the circuit, or is it just activating a dedicated tone cap for that particular pickup, or is it doing both?

I have one of those and love it. Of course, it's passive, has Lace Alumitone pickups, and is fretless now. But other than that, it's exactly the same as that one. Go for it!

Thanks for asking. It seems to be healing, but hurts unless I’m completely still. I stopped the Narcos earlier than doc said to, hate that stuff. I’m nauseous. It’s probably the gabapentin so am doing a trial starting today of only taking it at night. Hopefully that will help.

I mentioned Miles re that bird, but after doing that I saw where Lakeview is and there’s no way he should go that far to check it out. And yeah, you all have studied it a lot closer than I did. It is noticeable is that asking prices seem to be inching down some.

The older Epi cases, if it’s like the couple I have, are nice, sturdy, and lightweight.

Interesting that the input is on the front on one and on the side of the other.

The black one is the stock version that was available in stores. The sunburst is a custom order and the original owner preferred the same type of setup as on Blitz or Standard basses. If you look closely you will notice that the P pickups are not the same layout as the burst.
