I truly suspect the collective knowledge of Thunderbirds in this club exceeds the collective Thunderbird knowledge at Gibson.The collective Thunderbird knowledge here is amazing. The people aren't bad either.
I'll just wait for you people to be done going on about cars, trucks, and the like...

So with the cap in series with the single coil, (when the switch is closed) it will roll off a bit of lows?
I guess it would be easy enough to bypass it with a jumper to listen for a difference.
in series (don't know the topology), bigger cap: louder/brighter
in parallel just the opposite; less volume/darker
a jumper would ground the whole signal not telling us much, more can be learned from lifting one side off imho...
