Will you refinish it or leave it black? I was going to refinish it if I had kept it. Instead, the fretless 'bird will get the color love.The powersteels definitely brightened up the 2015. A good cleaning, oiled the finger board, made sure the ball ends were straight, and didn’t mess up Marshall’s setup. I left intonation for tomorrow.
When I turn a VP into a 64 IV, I’ll take your suggestion on powerwounds.

Frank's new Joe Bonamassa Sig Firebird, have to say, this is a freakin' cool guitar! I love the single pickup, different headstock (from standard Epi), banjo tuners, and unique burst masking. If I could only play it!

Eppi seems to have a pretty good track record as of late. Lots of interesting well built stuff there at great prices.

Re the Rick Turner - if it is an Alembic prototype, it must have had a different bridge. Those Badass IIs weren't available in the 70's.

although I believe that may be the original (before the II that was designed specifically as a direct drop in for FSOs) Leo Quan Badass, the II was indeed available then as my 79 Gretsch had/has one from the factory….Ya he is pretty loveable! And now I hear his voice when I read his posts
