George, is there an on/off switch on the Blackstar pedal? Looks like the tube is always on when the power cord is attached. Getting ready to test it with the Dano.

the 78 (first year) had that weird EB-0 type bridge with the the single angled plastic saddle and claw type recesses for the four string balls covered by the bridge cover….then went to the Badass II in 79…..my mom got me mine for my 15th birthday…..was my go to for a long time….truly incredible basses with highest workmanship standards and literally play themselves….from what I understand, Gretsch’s walnut and maple wood stock was over 30 years old in 79…..looks like this now…..

SIT Power Flats on my VP. Will’s VP is the one I plan on modding. Likely go with whatever strings would have been original to a 64.

Frank's new Joe Bonamassa Sig Firebird, have to say, this is a freakin' cool guitar! I love the single pickup, different headstock (from standard Epi), banjo tuners, and unique burst masking. If I could only play it!

It was 107 ("feels like 114") here today - at the end of my bike ride. I cut it short at 22 miles because I could tell my BP was dropping due to water loss.
Sharon called it a "once in a lifetime" thing. I had to agree, even though we had the mini-GTG with Veronica & Will last year, and plan more GTS. This one will always have a special place in my heart (as did the mini).
I expect hand-made products to differ slightly, especially between the luthiers. I think that's why the control layout varies on the new NRs. Thor puts the controls in a straight line, Loki swaps the tone & jack WRT Thor's layout, and Hela wanders through now and then blowing up the finished products, which is why prices went up so fast the first few months.

I drink un-homogenized whole milk at home. Thickest outside of fresh that I've found. 2% and under is just whitewashed water in my book.
