George, is there an on/off switch on the Blackstar pedal? Looks like the tube is always on when the power cord is attached. Getting ready to test it with the Dano.

the 78 (first year) had that weird EB-0 type bridge with the the single angled plastic saddle and claw type recesses for the four string balls covered by the bridge cover….then went to the Badass II in 79…..my mom got me mine for my 15th birthday…..was my go to for a long time….truly incredible basses with highest workmanship standards and literally play themselves….from what I understand, Gretsch’s walnut and maple wood stock was over 30 years old in 79…..looks like this now…..Interesting basses I wasn't aware of! Looks like the 78 has a bent plate Fender style bridge under that cover.
it is! so much better than Rosa’s 2%….![]()

SIT Power Flats on my VP. Will’s VP is the one I plan on modding. Likely go with whatever strings would have been original to a 64.Dave, what flats are on your black VP again, i forgot what you told me they were.
And which bass are you putting the SD's in?
I’m probably second only to @PillO among watermelon lovers around here. I can’t believe you guys hid it!We made good work of that melon.![]()

That is a sweet guitar, Willy.
Frank's new Joe Bonamassa Sig Firebird, have to say, this is a freakin' cool guitar! I love the single pickup, different headstock (from standard Epi), banjo tuners, and unique burst masking. If I could only play it!

Only that one day!Me too, I'm a little sad today, but I don't miss that 96 degree heat so much!
Will always be great memories from last weekend.

Which '64 though. QC was a little less precise, meaning those were probably all different. As long as they sound good, it doesn't much matter. More blasphemy from the Basement of Bad Ideas.
