Maybe if it were Pelham Blue...So all this VP love is making me realize I need to spend more time with my '17 VP. I've never really bonded with it. It's not a Tbird I pick up often because of the size and reach. I can probably get used to it if I focus just on it for several weeks.
did you use the Bird in that band?That behemoth is similar to mine the night I was playing with the Eddie Taylor Blues Band in an east-side Chicago club ('79) when a M-F argument at the bar developed into everyone at the bar brandishing a knife or gun. (!) I jumped behind my 2X15 cab Acoustic amp until the owner/bartender known as "Neck-Tie" deescalated the tense moment. Would have provided a good shield against stray bullets...
