I’m blind as a bat. But looks like chrome to me.Too bad the hardware is black. Except for parts of the tuners. I have not seen tu-tone tuners before.

If the neck I got is any indication, the body should be in great shape. I’m tempted to try and get that VP Brian posted. Have the seller put the tuners in a bag, cut off and toss the broken neck, and send me the loaded body and the tuners. Finally got the last piece of the puzzle today, the Hipshot 3-pt Supertone bridge. Meeting the luthier Saturday morning. In addition to fitting the neck, I'll be looking at getting fretboard and headstock match with the body, either by harmonization or eye-candy contrast. Job should take a month or so.

Thank you! So I at least see better than Will! That may, or it may not be comforting. Was just gonna say, it is chrome except for the top hats.
So I PM’d the seller of the broken VP. I may have found a body for my project and Mike’s nice neck already. If I get it, I’ll likely offer up the 760 Probuckers to help finance the project. If the neck I got is any indication, the body should be in great shape. Maybe I'm blind. The pickups, bridge, and tuning keys look black in the photo to me. It may be the way the photo is, though. It may be reflecting black surfaces. That would make some sense. My initial impression was that the hardware was all black with the exception of parts of the tuning machines. Was just gonna say, it is chrome except for the top hats.
It sure looks great with the Babicz. My ‘21 with the stock three point has great low action, but the bridge is to the deck. The Babicz allows for more flexibility to get it even a little lower. My favorite bridge by far.Maybe I'm blind. The pickups, bridge, and tuning keys look black in the photo to me. It may be the way the photo is, though. It may be reflecting black surfaces. Another project already, huh ?
Neck absolutely matches body, this 2010 is mint. Probably spent more time in a closet or under a bed than in someone's hands, I'm guessing. At 350$ CAD, by far my best 2nd hand purchase. As for the PG, that's a direct inspiration from what I see here.
The fretboard shows it was played, but probably not gigged. We don’t see them in anywhere close to that condition, especially at that age, at less than US $300 in SoCal. Usually US $350.00 is the ask.Another project already, huh ?

That’s gonna be a very cool bass when complete! Finally got the last piece of the puzzle today, the Hipshot 3-pt Supertone bridge. Meeting the luthier Saturday morning. That is pretty freaking sweet
Thanks. Feel free to build one yourself. Here is a quick description of what to do. I used Baltic Birch, but it can be built with lower grade plywood or MDF for a lot less money. That is pretty freaking sweet
