This club gets it. Thunderbirds are all about the different builds, the strings on them, the pickups in them, the amps they play through, the vehicles that transport them, the cases that carry them, the racks they hang on, the players who play them (whether they’re famous or not), the music Thunderbird players listen to, the books Thunderbird players read, the places Thunderbird players go, the bands Thunderbird players are in, and the food and libations that go along with enjoying them. And Thunderbird players’ pets. Everything is connected. Even watermelons.I just want to say (again), what a great place this club is. (And thank V for starting it.) I was visiting the G&L thread and a guy commented on a string situation for his G&L and there were two maybe three other posts about strings that were related and someone got ... (I'll be kind)... because it was supposed to be a G&L forum, not a string forum "and there is a forum for that" and instead of ignoring and letting it pay out had to go all big sister and point out the sin of straying. The comments were ending and a few ignored and posted related to the string question...for G&Ls..... Anyway, it's such a pleasure to be here where there is genuine interest in the people here and not just their bases in cases. If that's how they want it over there--have at it. Just doesn't seem to take away value that way. I get that threads have to stay on point, but all the wandering here always gets back home and all that's needed is a little patience bandwith. I can't imagine anyone here shooting someone down in this thread because there were a few posts on strings, hardware, pickups (lookin' at you Ken, or something related). People here actually care about the people and are glad to help or just see and share the joy another may have found with something along those lines. Some darn good people here. To say otherwise is fightin' words!

Talk to our friend @Bassmike62. I don’t know if he uses CNC plans, but he uses 7ender necks.Just had a thought... who here has the CNC plans for a bird with a Fender neck pocket???
Have at it! We don’t discriminate here. Just don’t get too carried away about it.…now THAT is a post for this club, the word “Thunderbird” was all over it!
Now I’m gonna go play one of my Fenders, or maybe a Ric….

It's so easy to scroll past posts you are not interested in - why get your panties in a bunch?
