I just want to say (again), what a great place this club is. (And thank V for starting it.) I was visiting the G&L thread and a guy commented on a string situation for his G&L and there were two maybe three other posts about strings that were related and someone got ... (I'll be kind)... because it was supposed to be a G&L forum, not a string forum "and there is a forum for that" and instead of ignoring and letting it pay out had to go all big sister and point out the sin of straying. The comments were ending and a few ignored and posted related to the string question...for G&Ls..... Anyway, it's such a pleasure to be here where there is genuine interest in the people here and not just their bases in cases. If that's how they want it over there--have at it. Just doesn't seem to take away value that way. I get that threads have to stay on point, but all the wandering here always gets back home and all that's needed is a little patience bandwith. I can't imagine anyone here shooting someone down in this thread because there were a few posts on strings, hardware, pickups (lookin' at you Ken
, or something related). People here actually care about the people and are glad to help or just see and share the joy another may have found with something along those lines. Some darn good people here. To say otherwise is fightin' words!

Well, I did participate in the insurrection by commenting on strings. Some brief positive SIT discussion as well. Which G&Ls used to come with from the factory.
Horses and the carts they pull. Baltimore is south enough for grits and north enough for scrapple. And there are people in Baltimore with horse drawn carts selling fruit and veg. And then there are the Amish a few miles north.
I have one of those, I use it often. Doesn't work on barrel jacks though - for that I use these:

So a lefty NR, reversed to play right handed (move the knobs & jack). Yes it needs to be built!love how you reversed that bass…..thought about that arrangement for a long time (way before I knew about this hang) and actually got to see it done here….curious as to how they play….
That was my thought as well. If it's a waste of time, why waste your time wasting more time on it. Just move on-- life's too short to be wound that tight.
