My lithography professor back in undergrad art-school was a big THB advocate - my being from the Mid-West, his work is a perfect depiction of such. I was never prone to being that literal imagery-wise, but he was a master of hs art/craft and an inspiration as an artist.

Essentially coming to art via comic books, I was a fan of the regionalists for a period. I’ve had the opportunity to see works by the big three, Benton, Wood, and Curry. In the end I probably prefer the gentle, and sometimes not so gentle, humor of Grant Wood.

They are still on the website although I’ve heard they’re no longer in production. Odd because the site looks as if it’s been updated.

They've been out of production for over a year now.

But man, what a GREAT sounding bass, they nailed it on the Jr!

As much as some of us love Gibson ............ trying to understand there mode of operation has always been 100% futile.
