great basses, worth 3x the price.. Too many pickups though…
I've been whining in this thread about wanting something with big old honkin' T-bird buckers for a few years now.
Gonna pick up the green one at 6:30 this evening and play it on my gig starting at 8:30!

That's cheap for a Lull now. Their TBirds are discontinued and Spencer won't sell the pickups solo. But ordering a JT (jazz body with TBird pickups ) is coming in over 5k now.
They are the same as most chrome Tbird pickups at 41mm x 92mm.
I believe a lot of the Newport's showed up with really bad setups out of the box. Seems like there was something else but Scott should be able to provide the info.
Know I know where Chrysler Aust got the front bumper for the 71-76 “Chrysler by Chrysler” (real name) sedan and hardtop coupe.
I don’t think “woman on roof” was an available option though.
A gig just happened. Took the non-reverse which seems to be a good choice for anything. Sounds good, looks good (a matter of taste of course but let's face it, it does), works with a 70's style of clothing and hair and there's always no other players on the same bill playing a non-reverse.

The bastards at Houston central location sold 'er from under me. But I'm headed past north side store tomorrow so should be fine.
I REALLY wanted to play the damn thing tonight on the rowdy blues trio gig.
