Thunderbird Club

Well, y'all might have me sold on the EBCF. The Embassy had a kind of hollow mid range thing going on (sorta AM radio like) with the factory strings, swapped them out for the EBCF and now it has a very full powerful body to it. It's little dark right now, (I'm favoring the bridge pickup with the blend much more than I normally do) but I think I'll be able to find some profiles that work with it too get a little more top in there. Definitely a great sounding piece for $300 and it looks great and is pretty light. It's hard to fault it at that price. Even if I end up dropping in a set of the Gibson NR that's $560 and I'll get some of that back from the 760s

A gig just happened. Took the non-reverse which seems to be a good choice for anything. Sounds good, looks good (a matter of taste of course but let's face it, it does), works with a 70's style of clothing and hair and there's always no other players on the same bill playing a non-reverse.

Seriously. I try to keep track of what my friends here have and play. But with you it’s futile.

let the kids do it... :woot:

I watched this again - can you image having that bike? The RC30 is legendary - and so beautiful. I've owned 3 of her relatives (VF500, VFR750 & 800) - I know. It would be impossible because you'd simultaneously want it to stay exactly like that forever, meaning no way in hell are you riding it... and wanting to ride it more than anything! No... it's best to watch the vid and take pleasure in knowing it exists. :)

Left the uke alone today. Grabbed the Tele 6 stringer for a while then the FSO and the Goth.
Surprised to see the FSO has remained stark white but the pickguard has aged.

Looks good to me, but it's a relatively easy fix if you want to go back to a white PG.
I guess some plastics have UV resistance and some don't.
