hey, don’t really care much for the look of Markbass stuff either….

But isn’t that what you gig with mostly? I’m sure it’s great sounding and lightweight, but I’d guess there are a huge selection of great sounding, powerful, lightweight and cool looking combos to choose from now. The GK Fusion is one that comes to mind.

Same. I find them kinda silly-looking. But the 19th I'll be using the house MarkBass 210 combo (FX loop, so no prob), then on the 21st the house GK 210 combo. A lot of shows through the end of the year.

I’m jealous, even though I’m in TWO good bands, it seems like gigs are far and few…

like a whole lot of flashy (cheesy from an American perspective) Italian fashion stuff……functionally however, unbeatable….

so dig the Black Beauties on this…..scary how good this setup sounds…..

How so functionally? Admittedly I've never really delved into their controls due to lack of exposure or time, but I've never been able to gel with it and fortunately the FX loop allows me to use my own preamp and run straight into its power amp.

heck, I just turned down two gigs this weekend, would you gig in SC county?….

Yes, but, not being local we couldn’t bring bodies, also, both bands are originals, one is good ole hard rock, the other is much heavier but catchy vocally. I’m both cases any Friday, Saturday (best) night or Sunday afternoon gigs would be great, opening or 2nd of 3 bands is best!

If curious about the sound of each, I’d recommend looking us up and give a quick listen:

The song “So Easy” a fun one.

he song “Circles” is a good one, and will have a video coming soon. Song “Idle Warship” is also good, both those have and others have the same lead vox, the drummer. Bleed, Faith, are done by lead guitarist, and Nostalgia Junkie is sung by the other guitarist. I stay away from microphones at this point.
